May Fair - Ryecroft Lane Once again the May Fair held in conjunction with the Winter Hill Fell Race was a great success, the weather was glorious and many people attended the fair which was held on Ryecroft Lane. Winter Hill Fell Race The fell race was well subscribed with four separate races being run:
12.00 noon, juniors born 1994/95/96/97 1.5m / 300' 12.00 noon, juniors born 1992/93 2m / 400' 12.45 p.m., England Team Trial, juniors born 1990/9 1, 3m / 600' 1.30 p.m., seniors 4.5m / 1000'
The results can be obtained from the Fell Runners Website once they are published. Congratulations to all those who competed and many thanks to the people who marshaled the event and to Bolton Mountain Rescue and especially to David Bateson who organized the Winter Hill Fell Race. Refurbishment on the Moss Plans for the replacement toilets are with the Borough Council Planning Department and the formal consultation process is underway. This vital facility will soon

YOUTH CLUB VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED The Youth Club in Belmont has been recently restarted but is in danger of folding due to the lack of adult volunteers, at least three are required each session. If you can help out on Monday nights (one or two nights per month) please call in at the school at 7pm for details.
